As the countdown to the FIFA World Cup 2026™ continues, Louis Vuitton is once again proving that luxury and sport go hand-in-hand. The luxury fashion House has unveiled the official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Trophy Trunk, a handcrafted masterpiece designed to transport and present one of the world’s most coveted trophies. The announcement arrives at an especially exciting time, with Miami preparing to welcome fans from around the globe as one of the tournament’s official host cities.
Handcrafted by Louis Vuitton’s artisans in the House’s historic Asnières-sur-Seine workshops just outside Paris, the Trophy Trunk reflects more than 160 years of savoir-faire. Wrapped in Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram canvas, the design features two hand-painted front panels accented with a striking golden “V,” symbolizing both Victory and Vuitton while echoing the colors of the FIFA World Cup trophy. The exterior is finished with Louis Vuitton’s signature leather trim, gold-plated brass corners, lock, and clasps inspired by the brand’s historic travel trunks, while the interior is lined in soft beige leather and custom-designed to securely cradle football’s most prestigious prize.
The partnership between Louis Vuitton and FIFA has now spanned more than a decade, with the House designing Trophy Trunks for every FIFA World Cup™ Final since South Africa 2010, including Brazil 2014, Russia 2018, and Qatar 2022. Over the years, the Trophy Trunk has become nearly as recognizable as the championship trophy itself, representing a shared commitment to heritage, precision, and excellence.
“For over a decade, Louis Vuitton and FIFA have shared an unwavering commitment to excellence, bound by a shared belief in sport’s power to inspire and bring people together,” said Pietro Beccari, CEO and Chairman of Louis Vuitton. “At its heart stands the world’s most coveted trophy—a symbol of dedication, collective ambition, and the ultimate celebration of victory.”
With Miami preparing to take center stage during the FIFA World Cup 2026™, Louis Vuitton’s latest unveiling offers a fitting reminder that the world’s biggest sporting event is about more than what happens on the pitch. From exceptional design and meticulous craftsmanship to the unforgettable moments that define championship history, the official Trophy Trunk celebrates the artistry behind victory itself. As millions of fans prepare for the tournament, Louis Vuitton once again demonstrates why its legacy extends far beyond fashion, creating timeless pieces that become part of football history long before the final whistle blows.
