When it comes to fitness, Jade Ramey, certified wellness coach, has one word to describe her journey—strategy. If the 29-year-old isn’t prioritizing working out, she’s focused solely on plant-based diets, abstract painting, and of course, modeling.
Jade, who showcased her toned physique in last year’s Miami Swim Week, has also been dedicating her time to personal ventures including her new activewear line, Giada World Official.
We caught up with the fitness influencer to discuss her training regimen, daily diet, and the one thing she always does to help keep a positive mindset on social media. Here’s what she had to say…
3H: Describe the training you did to achieve your body goals...
JR: Strategy—my team and I devise an achievable game plan, so all there is left to do is execute. The real key is to always be on your game in the first place. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is already a priority of mine, it helps me hold a deeper focus on my goals. Forming habits is much more difficult than maintaining them.
3H: You’re on a plant-based diet, what do you eat on a typical day to maintain your physique?
JR: I will always have a strawberry banana smoothie, and I really love tacos. Black peppered pistachios are also a huge favorite of mine. I’ll make these little homemade trail mixes and bring them on the go. Being prepared and strategic is important. Having good quality foods made accessible and handy saves so much extra time.
It can be difficult to get enough protein on a plant based diet, let alone while training for something. To get the boosts I need I will supplement my usual plant-based diet. I’m always on the lookout for quality ingredients without fillers. I really love Orgain protein powder. To replenish electrolytes, I will often grab a Liquid IV or Harvest Coconut Water.

3H: How has your transition into fitness changed your mental health?
JR: It has grounded me so much. All of it to me is a form of meditation. Meditation can be done through movement too. Staying consistent in the gym helps me to remain consistent when checking in with myself. I ask myself how I’m feeling each day and then I act accordingly. Each day is different. I look and feel different every day. Some days I need to focus on active rest and getting to bed earlier. I’ll still go to the gym because it’s just part of my ritual. I’ll do light stretches on the days I can’t go as hard.
This mindset has definitely helped me to give myself love and grace instead of being hard on myself and expecting perfection.
3H: Social media can be a toxic place, how do you maintain a positive mindset?
JR: In the fitness world, we are only seeing our peer’s highlight reels on social media. Perspective is everything. It’s so easy to fall down a negative comparison rabbit hole. In reality, we all have the agency and power to turn off our phones and take a break if social media becomes detrimental. We absolutely can also use these tools, for our advantage and happiness.

3H: What inspired your activewear and swimwear line, Giada World Official?
JR: I’ve always loved creating things. I was on a clothing kick recently, making pieces every day at one point. I was also at the time exploring internally why I was doing this. Something in this search brought me to look up the meaning behind my name and it coincided perfectly with what I was going for.
The Jade stone in Chinese culture is associated with bridging heaven and Earth. This aligned with my artistic intention. I want to create things I find beautiful: to bring pieces from heaven to Earth. I want to do it all in a state of love, I don’t mean relationship love—I mean this more comprehensively. I’m in love with my actions and with my life. If I do this beauty will shine through.
3H: What can we expect from you in the future?
JR: I’m back in my artsy girl era so expect to see a lot more art in the future; including but not limited to painting, handmade clothing pieces, and interior design.
If Jade has proven anything it’s that she’s a woman of diverse skills and many talents. Whether she’s feeling artsy or in her fitness girl era, she consistently reminds us that there’s always more to what meets the eye.
