While September graciously ushered in new stunning fall fashion – we’re looking at you, Zimmerman – October has certainly proven that it has its fair share of new formulas, shades, and shadows to swoon over in the beauty sphere.
This month’s launches are nothing short of luxury. Byredo, the iconic fragrance brand, has launched its first-ever beauty collection. Celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic has released his long-awaited makeup line. Hermès debuted new shades to its limited-edition lipstick collection, adding another must-have to our wishlist.
Below, we’ve curated five of our favorite launches this month that we can guarantee you’ll be adding to your shopping cart.
Byredo: Colour Sticks
The European fragrance brand Byredo has an extensive history in allowing us to experience its beauty aromatically, but luckily this year, we’re able to have a more tangible feel. Byredo launched its inaugural collection of makeup, including eyeliner, mascara, lipsticks, and balms. The focal point of the collection is the Colour Sticks. These multi-use sticks come in 16 vanilla-scented shades with finishes ranging from a delicate pink to metallic bronze. While the packaging and versatile shades alone are enough to obsess over, what’s so amazing about the Colour Sticks is that they can be worn on the lips, eyes, and cheeks for an alluring monochromatic look.
Makeup By Mario: Master Metals™ Eyeshadow Palette
Widely known for sculpting, contouring, and highlighting the faces of some of our fave celebs, Mario Dedivanovic has launched his first-ever makeup collection, and there is only one word to describe it – groundbreaking. While the full collection includes highlighters, eyeliners, prep and set kits, and much more, the star of the line is the Master Metals™’ eyeshadow palette. This palette has five metallic shades delivering intense high-metal shine for a liquid-foil effect. Between the universally flattering shades to the sleek and high-quality palettes, it’s easy to understand why this collection is flying off shelves.
Hermès: Rouge Hermès Satin Lipstick
Don’t worry, you don’t have to get on the “list” for this limited-edition Hermès, but you do have to act fast before they sell out. Hermès, the iconic fashion house of the elusive Birkin bag, launched its first-ever beauty line this year, including 24 shades of satin and matte lipsticks. The second limited-edition Rouge Hermès collection features three new subtle pink shades, including Rose Ombré, Rose Pomette, and Rose Nuit, all packaged in chic refillable cases.
UOMA Beauty: Drama Bomb Extreme Volume Nourishing Mascara
UOMA Beauty’s owner Sharon Chuter (who is also responsible for the Pull Up For A Change movement) was inspired by Josephine Baker’s dramatically bold lashes when she developed the new Drama Bomb Extreme Volume Nourishing Mascara. The new mascara is an addition to the makeup line, which already includes highlighters, concealers, lipsticks, eyeshadows, and an impressive 51 shades of foundation. This game-changing formula is packed with castor, avocado, and jojoba oils, promoting longer, stronger, and thicker natural lashes.
Chanel: Healthy Glow Foundation Hydration and Longwear
Chanel beauty is a necessity in any makeup collection, not just because of the classic aesthetics, but because the products leave us feeling timeless. The new Healthy Glow foundation offers light-to-medium coverage with a weightless texture. Light-reflecting pigments smooth and enhance the skin creating a radiant finish. The new formula is also made with 40 percent water, aiding in ultimate hydration and moisturization ideal for the Fall and Winter seasons.
