Paris Fashion Week has finally wrapped up for the fall 2021 season. And along with it, we witnessed this upcoming season’s boldest beauty looks. Deep smoky eyes, bright mullet haircuts, vibrant winged liner, the list is unmatched. Despite the pandemic, designers and makeup artists collaborated to create some of the most daring looks we’ve seen all season.
We’ve rounded up the chicest looks on the runway that we are certain will be making their way to a street near you.
Chanel: Blunt Bangs
This season Chanel is giving us a fashionable reason to reach for the shears and snip away. Hairstylist Damien Boissinot created face-framing layers with this bold look.
Altuzarra: Colorful Unibrow
Bright brows, or shall we say “brow,” was the concentrated look makeup artist Stevie Huynh created for this season. The colorful unibrow matched perfectly with the minimal makeup the models flaunted.
Balmain: Bleached Brows
Bleached brows are a thing, and Balmain showed us how to achieve this daring look. Makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench paired peroxide brows with thin black winged liner, enhancing the minimal yet dramatic look.
Dior: Smoky Eyes
This season’s smoky eye consists of negative spaces sans mascara. Makeup artist Peter Phillips created a sultry look by sweeping black shadow along the outer and inner corners leaving room for a natural blend on eyes.
Dolce & Gabbana: Neon Mullets
Mullets in 2021 are fashion, not faux-pas. Hairstylist Guido Palau created dozens of neon mullets, and one spectacular rainbow dye job, for a revamped futuristic look. The style was also paired with bold lips and a winged liner.
Giambattista Valli: Aura Eyes
Makeup artist Helene Vasnier gave a new meaning to the traditional use of eyeshadow this season. Using vibrantly pigmented shadows, she created a halo around the entire eye, eyebrows included, for an intense, eclectic look.
Versace: Bright Wings
Winged eyeliner has a new look when makeup artist Pat McGrath envisions it. Aqua, fuchsia, tangerine, and other vibrant colors stole the show with the dramatically winged eyeliner and nude gloss look.
